Midlife Isn’t a Crisis. It’s a Reclamation

It’s a call.
A call to come home to yourself.
A call to be witnessed as you truly are — not as the version you’ve curated to keep everything and everyone together.
I’ve learned this the hard way.
In 2021, I thought I was heading for burnout.
Turned out, I needed to fine-tune my supplements and reset my sleep-wake cycles to help regulate my adrenals.
But then — about 18 months ago — came the rage.
Not irritation. Not stress.
Rage that coursed through my body and unlocked a fire I didn’t know how to hold.
I became reactive, edgy, volatile — startled by my own sharpness.
Tears in unexpected places.
Moments of complete blankness, like someone had unplugged me.
And the haunting thought:
“Is this just who I am now?”
But it wasn’t.
It was a series of messages.
Whispers that — if we don’t listen to them — become louder.
Then shouts.
Eventually screams that side-swipe us.
Midlife brings more than hot flushes and hormone charts.
It brings questions we can no longer ignore:
How do I move through this transition without losing my sense of self?
Where are my low-hanging fruits for feeling better right now?
What do I need to say yes to?
What needs to be released?
What do I long for — deeply?
Moving through this time requires more than weight-bearing exercise and a good night’s sleep.
It requires presence.
It requires support.
I’m making it through the fog and fire — not because I’m “sorted” or have superpowers.
Far from it.
I’ve leaned into a few incredible coaches (thank you Angela Deutschmann, Dr Frances Yahia and my breathwork coach Natalie), deepened my embodiment practice, and made it a priority to reconnect with ancient feminine wisdom.
Because the cost of not doing this?
It’s not just fatigue, brain fog, or lost libido.
It’s the slow erosion of your aliveness.
It’s losing your fire. Your softness. Your wild.
It’s waking up a decade from now wondering where you went.
